tot only ang mo countries needed only

now land of smile also need sianzzzzzzzzzzzz

Each ETA will allow a single entry and will be valid for 60 days per visit with the possibility of extending it for an additional 30 days. ETA applications will be free of charge and fully digital.

Nationals from Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia will be exempt from the ETA requirement.

This news already few weeks back lor. Korea already had KETA, Japan in the near future. And if applying ETA can make so much noise, not sure what will happen once Thailand activate the 300baht tourism fee collection

It seems we got a better deal. ETA only valid for visa exempt countries but not all asean countries get to be in ETA. We will get 60 days with discretion by Thai authorities to extend another 30 days, which is more than what other asean countries got. There is also the prospect of faster clearance through ETA.

Travellers holding an ETA will be able to use automated immigration clearance gates at checkpoints. By scanning the QR code provided on their ETA, visitors can enjoy faster immigration clearance, further streamlining the entry process.

Sure thing. But it's 30 + 30 days. We are getting 60 + 30 days under ETA. Not an expert. You can enlighten me for general knowledge. :giggle:

What I find appealing is not the number of days granted but prospect of faster clearance.
