Yep, I know. Have been buying iPhone from apple store since 6 Plus. Always managed to PO one and get it on launch day, but this time a bit scary considering all the news about low production volume

The X will definitely sell out within mins or less on pre-order day, due to production issues too.

The exclusive part is the notification text becomes visible when you look at the phone as FaceID would have unlocked your phone

Exact same sentiments. My last successful pre-order was for the 5S. 6s Plus not successful and now the X....doubtful.

I saw a pocket now video today that Apple will cut production of the iPhone 8 by 50% and increase production of the iPhone X.

People are reportedly buying more iPhone 7s than iPhone 8s in the US

well. the big difference is wireless charging. which not many are willing to take the bite.
and considering X is around the corner.

wonder if 8 is the lowest in terms of sales numbers.
that will also show how far the competitions have come. or how little innovation it has.

Since X will be released a few months after 8, the logical thing is to wait for it. Once its out and u like it, then buy it. If u prefer 8, u can always buy 8.

Not many will straight away buy 8 then later regret when X comes out.
