Doesn’t work if your eyes are closed. That’s what I heard from the reviews.

Wrong. MKBHD just uploaded his iPhone X unboxing. Phone will not unlock if you don't look at it WITH EYES open. So your wife will have to open both your eyes to unlock phone lmao

The eyes must still be opened. Even with or without sunglasses. The IR blaster is able to ‘penetrate’ through sunglasses’ lenses to capture your eyes.

Unless you set it up with your eyes closed?

Not just wives. Think of it this way. Everyone lock phone for a reason. Now if u put ur phone on the table, friend took it and point to ur face, he can do whatever he wants. At the moment sure look at phone. Not talking about serious stuff, but it made locking redundant.
