is there a way to just check notifications on the lock screen, for incoming messages, without unlocking the phone through face ID?
like, with the other iphones, you can look and glance at the lock screen, without unlocking it so long as you don't unlock it using your fingerprint.
is this even possible with the X? you know, sometimes, you don't need your phone unlocked because you wish to keep it locked from people nearby. but you still would like to look at your messages and any incoming mails.

the face id quite amazing i inside car the phone on my lower right just above my right thigh inside so dark also can unlock lol and i just turn my face to look at it only

Bro maybe later can try aim the face id at the rear vacant passenger seats. See if can unlock or not.

You can look into the depth camera and then just scroll your notification from the lock screen without sliding it up.

u have to disable FaceID then. just use passcode

Press and hold both Power and Vol Up buttons and then you are given a choice to shut down or SOS. New shutdown combo as the power button is needed to activate SIRI.

Optimized apps look really good, on the other hand, non-optimized apps really mini.. in S8 or Note8, you can force the apps to fit the screen (even though it can appear weird), I wish iPhone will have this option eventually.

But after coming from S8+ .. apps on iOS are way more stable/faster.

Anyone realize the X is running very hot compared to the previous iPhones?
