Had to chance to try out the X before collecting it tomorrow. Not used to the control centre on top (kept swiping from bottom haha). Also, multitasking seems to take quite a while to activate - held my finger on the screen for about a full second.

Other than that, the screen is absolutely beautiful. Not that bothered by the notch. It's smaller than I thought.

Apple has already confirmed that this swipe is intentional.

You can just raise to wake the phone and swipe up. No need to wait for lock animation. Face ID will do its thing.

Hmm.. If you activate Raise to Wake, does this cause some battery drain? Would it lead to unintended waking of the screen say when you're walking with the phone in your hand?

Oh, thanks alot!
Hope they will remove this intentional swipe step, thumb not long enough to go all the way down to swipe it up.
Probably i'm too used to finger print verification and getting straight to the home screen :o

Shouldn't activate as your walking motion is different from a raise to wake motion. Even if it did, minimum power use due to the way the A11 is designed
