eh. the more i see it the colour shifting jus speak of poor display quality.

is this what the rest of the world were seeing on their smartphone?

can't be jus me right? man. how i wish i don't know such things.

The blueish tint when viewing at certain angle is normal with an OLED display. Apple has done a solid job in minimising the blue tint. You look at Note 8 and Pixel 2 XL. They are far worse.

Yellowish is due to True Tone. Can be disabled.
Blue tint is OLED “feature”

lcd displays usually fall nearer the blue spectrum. but apple has shifted their lcd displays towards the yellow spectrum over the years. compare my 6s+ with 4, my 4 has a bluer screen while my 6s+ has a yelllowish screen.

X oled is more yellowish compared to Samsung's own AMOLED bluish displays. just different emphasis by different companies/manufacturers.

i never use more than 50% brightness setting anyway to save battery. brightness setting also affects the yellowness/blueness of the display.

no. i think things will only get more expensive :s13:

if X's sales is good, mean Apple can push the price. in the area no other phones manufacturers will dare venture into considering the cutthroat nature of using an open OS.

My X is plugged in to charge. Then fully charged already i just leave it plugged in. Every now and then there will be a subtle vibration then the right top icon will show a big batt icon instead of the usual 3
Anyone?

Actually while charging and not fully charged also got the chime.

Like every 5-10mins can hear a soft chime (same as the chime when just plug in to charge). Then the batt icon enlarged a while, replacing the other 2 icons before fading small again
