iOS isn't true multitasking. It is merely switch tasking.

There you go. Unless Dropbox re-codes the app or works around the limitation, it is not going to change the way it operates.

I find that iOS (not iPhone X specific) does not play nice with the Dropbox app.
With Android, Dropbox will continue to upload your pictures in the background until everything is uploaded.
Under iOS, the app is suspended in the background even if background refresh is enabled... so your pictures don't get uploaded unless u keep the Dropbox app open.

Any regrets getting ipX?

Unless you're a flipper, a big no. Love the swiping and the face ID. The screen is great too.

Though waiting for the day when iPhone cameras can be as great as the Pixels.

There is a security setting that enables the “requires your attention “ when unlocking.

It is better to leave this default security setting on.

Otherwise , when you are unconscious or sleeping, another person can unlock your phone by scanning your face.

Wow. The face ID.

Even when the face is looking at the phone but eyes look elsewhere it won't unlock

I agree.

For me, the convenience of Face ID is really revolutionary

The portrait mode really is a hit or miss. Beta indeed

I for one use a mostly black wallpaper + reduce white point. smart invert is not perfect yet so won't be using it but it's good to know what I can do if I need battery life in a pinch.

Since we got unlimted data on weekend that cannot even use finish, so i did a speedtest on Starhub LTE using my iPhone X getting around between 175 to 185Mbps.

Not too bad for Starhub LTE speed considering Starhub upgrade it’s LTE which now max speed up to 400Mbps, though still lose to Singtel which their max speed up to 800Mbps.

Yea, always used dark wallpapers with minimal design on all my phones so good to know it helps alot with battery life.

Just tried reduce white point which seems to be a minor difference but I'm going to give it a try since it can save batt/reduce burn in.

Without reduce white point, i find it too bright despite auto brightness. With reduce white point is like perfect for me, machiam same as my i7+ brightness.

So all Bros here with yellow tinted screen issue already solve the issue already ?

Personally, it was never an issue for me. Seems better calibrated when compared to a Note 8 which was too bluish for me. However, True Tone is yellowish when turned on despite various environments, so I guess we can only wait.

True, felt like everything was abit too strong/bright. Easier on the eyes with reduce white point for me so win-win I guess.

the 348+ more on a Ip8plus for the X is worth for me. will you go back the old same size and design you've been using for last 3 years? Not for me. totally enjoying the new IPX experience.

To be honest, this is a good phone but not worth the price.
