What does it mean?

Meet Card Spend of S$500 and
Credit Salary / make 3 GIRO debit transactions

What does it mean?

First S$10,000 1.00% 1.50%
Next S$20,000 1.50% 2.00%
Next S$20,000 2.00% 3.33%
Above S$50,000 0.05% 0.05%

♦ Base interest is 0.05% p.a.. Bonus interest is paid on first S$50,000 on One Account

^ Maximum effective interest rate (EIR) on the One Account is 1.60% p.a. at S$50,000 deposit, provided customers meet the criteria of S$500 Card Spend.
Maximum effective interest rate (EIR) on the One Account is 2.43% p.a. at S$50,000 deposit, provided customers meet both criterias of S$500 Card Spend and S$2,000 Salary credit / 3 GIRO debits per month.

definitely better than ocbc, unless ocbc announce easily achievable better rate come May 1, hahaha, at uob 2.43% vs 1.05%/2.05% ocbc, hahaha

Its decent enough at 1.6% and 2.43% since UOB One card give up to 3.33% rebate also so its actually not difficult to meet $500 spend a month. It depend on how OCBC 360 change its T&C. If it sucks then everybody can shift to UOB One.

only works if u have 50k.. if u dont have 50k then its crap can stick to ocbc

comparably sc has the bonus saver at 1,88 percent if you all are keen also, 500 dollar spending required

Lol easy to achieve, but whoa at the calculations involved. Is it not weird that they give you the bank account interest in tiers?

Indeed it seems best for people who actually have 50k in their account, otherwise, it's really only better than OCBC's 360 when people are not able to hit the salary criteria..

Don't know about you but I don't like to use a credit card and keep having to keep track whether I spend $300, $800, $1500. The One card or Direct Visa also doesn't earn Uni$, right?

They do not earn Uni$, they do earn UOB Smart$ though. Anyway, I prefer cash rebate to points anytime

I don't like to work but I want to get paid. But not possible so work and get paid lor. You have to work for your money else you get pathetic rewards like most people.
