Eh... Just want to check, May I know where I can register myself at NLB website? Can't seem to find a link to do so.

Or must I go down to the library to go a registration?

Edit: Oh oh found it... Thanks~

Thanks for listing - and a bit more information:

Exists since april 15, 2010.

Two goals: supporting Project Gutenberg (by producing e-text) and free e-literature on the web in general ... and more (by linking to 600+ sites that matter, all over the world in many different languages - including general literature, poetry, Greek, Roman and Medieval, Art, Music, Audiobooks, Books and Literature in general, Research, Education and Scientific Publications).

From the Projects page, check out a book you like to work on for a first or second round proofreading. Beginners are fully supported, people wanting to do more will be guided through the whole process - from scanning to pleasantly readable e-book.

(Links will be more ordered thematically and by language in the near future...)

Enjoy!! - And hope to hear from some proofreaders :)

MobileRead

mobileread.com - About 17.000 e-books are available for download in different formats for mobile devices - full list can be downloaded in html at mobileread.com/forums/ebooks.php.

Very nice forum for people who read on mobiles - books are posted by forummembers.

(Seems I didn't post enough yet to be able to include weblinks :) - quite annoying!)

There's this website, KooBits, that's offering 1,000 free ebooks (according to them). BUT it's in their ebook reader software which you have to install on your computer...and the free books are just mainly classics from Project Gutenberg which are free in the first place. Still, it's nice to have a library with all those ebooks.

Their software is not bad though, you can even upload your own PDF or ePub ebooks into the shelves...kinda like Picasa or iTunes for ebooks.
