yes when check in. pre booked via expedia, was supposed to pay by cc via expedia but the hotel informed me few days before that my cc txn has error. requested to pay onsite and they agreed. no signage, since youtrip is a debit card, the txn in twd went thru.

Yes, any bank atm. Key note to remember, switch ur trustbank card link to deduct from saving instead of C.C function. If the atm prompt for DCC option, aka "do you want the bank to convert for you." choose no.
May i know is it i have to link my saving acct to trust bank card in order to get a better rate when withdraw from Taiwan ATM?

i do link to the trust saving acct. But some user say no need as you select saving account in atm good enough.

FAQ:

  • ATM cash withdrawals You have the option of selecting to withdraw cash from either your savings account or credit card account at the ATM. The funds will then be withdrawn based on this selection. To avoid charges, we recommend that you select ‘Savings Account’ for ATM cash withdrawals so they are withdrawn from your savings account. If you choose to withdraw cash with your credit card account, charges for cash advance will apply.

You can paynow to your trust saving account the equivalent amount of SGD you want to withdraw (NTD) anytime before withdrawal if that works better for you.
