I'm going taiwan tomorrow and i don't have a single cent of twd yet. It's safe to wait till i reach taoyuan airport to change right?

I changed at dbs taiwan last year, but i guess it's not that worth to go find one this time with the 1% imposed. Anybody knows how is it like to withdraw from the dbs taiwan atm? Any charges imposed?

0I also go tomorrow night by scoot 0050. change 500 at northpoint to play safe.

if you use posb or dbs ATM card, no charge or SGD5 if withdraw at other bank ATM

Taoyuan airport sure can change. They have several counters, some are before customs at the luggage pickup belt area.

I just called customer service on Friday this is what she told me, I did mentioned about Taipei but did not mentioned the old incident happen early of the year. maybe someone just call again to confirm, please

my own opinion, i thot of getting one but in the end i left as i didn't wanna wait for the opening and i survived without a sim card for a week.

just make use of offline maps and the free wifi at the different convenience store!

I'm planning to subscribe to M1's data passport since i can't finish my 12gb data bundle anyways. Cost about the same as getting a prepaid and i don't hava to remove my own sim or bring an extra phone.

But you can always have breakfast at the airport while waitng, since not much to do at that hour too.

Withdrawal last time people say system upgrade.
Just bring more cash and see when you need, just walk into banks and change ba.
