Arrived Taoyuan T2 yesterday on 2 Jan. As Bank of taiwan opens on weekdays we changed at Mega ICBC at the arrival hall. The rate was 22.73. Today i saw at the another currency exchanger at 3F (departure hall) next to the Tax Refund booth with the rate of 22.73 as well. Hope this helps.

We only changed the money ($800) in taoyuan airport using S$100 dollar note.

I didn't realize about the 'open on weekdays' comment.
I was under the impression that both the banks that are operating at the airport (BOT and Megabank) were open pretty much 24/7.

As far as i know they opened till maybe 11pm?
And opens at 5am.

Open on weekdays, i think they may have mistaken it along the way.
