I have just changed at Suntec 22.80. THe boss said now is the peak period Singaporeans travelling to Taiwan. Probably cause of weather and sakura...... he is having problem getting NTD.

Most were varying between 22.7 to 22.8 ...a few of them no stock of TWD also

I am not sure if they use the cash rate or spot rate at the airport. I remember last time i changed at Taoyuan they charge a certain percentage or amount when they change for you...some say its 5%...

Based on current local rate, i think change in airport sounds better and they will only charge you extra NT 30 but go to Mega Bank as the rate is higher than Taiwan bank.

See above post..Check rates by looking at 現金買匯 column.. Megabank(ICBC) rates are slightly higher than BoT..

NT$30 service charge per transaction.

buying ..... don't bother to queue with people once you reached the airport as after you have gone through the custom. There is one at the baggage collection area and also within the airport there are few. But the one at baggage collection area always no people so you can save alot of time.
