The rate shown here seems to be lousier than arcade exchange rate leh.. Should be look at "buying" right? Cos we give them sgd in exchange for NTD.. Correct me if i am wrong..

Hmm.. but over here in singapore when we look at the rates, also look at sell? but if its looking at sell on that website, the rates is super good leh!

Somehow if u notice, no money changer will give u more if u sell them back their currency..The rate is always lower..

Eg;

I go Taoyuan change NTD, when about to leave the country, i decide to have my remaining NTD change back to SGD so they will give u a lower rate than when u change SGD to NTD..

Look at the “We Sell” column whenever you want to buy and look at the “We Buy” column whenever you want to sell. The formula is very easy:

You want to buy foreign currency with MYR, this is how much you should get:
Money that you want to exchange in base currency(MYR) / We Sell (Buying Price) X Unit
You want to sell foreign currency and get back the MYR, this is how much you should get:
Money that you want to exchange in target currency(Foreign $) X We Buy (Selling Price) / Unit

I thought and wish too but someone mentioned that every SGD100 = NT30. Those of you who had changed at Taoyuan airport, could you please confirm is it one time admin fee of NT30 for regardless of any amount or every SGD100, they charge NT30.

but generally, megabank will be giving the better rate than bank of taiwan
