:s11: How does the buy price affect me if i want to get TWD in Singapore? sorry i catch no ball.

If don't know how to see the price list of buy or sell price. That's the way to differentiate. If don't know, never mind. Coz, you don't change as much or often.

Can always join the queue at arcade or Chinatown. I used to do that too. But no longer after checking that DBS is worth a visit. The trip down to queue is already cost to incurred. MRT fares wanna ki geh liao. Overseas transport system still same, not much changes. So will rather pay the 16NT to get to the metro station or train station to change money, jiak png and come back and rest.

I guess sometimes it's a little confusing depending on which country you are at.

In Singapore they are selling NT$ to you.
In Taiwan they are buying your S$ in exchange for NT$.
So different column depending on where you are at.

ya!! thats what i meant.
But if go Taiwan liao exchange rate no good still must change, so i kiasi just change in sg la :o

Is it this one:
????????

Look at cash (buy) right?
so 23.12?

If I exchanged only a few hundred dollars at 23.08, the difference won't be big.
At these two rates, must exchange at least SGD700 to feel the difference...
Correct me if my calculation wrong.

Correct..Another way to look at it is Cash then lowest of the 2..

But well known that DBS Taiwan > Megabank > Bank of Taiwan

S$700 x 23.08 = NT$16156
BOT: S$700 x 23.12 - NT30 = NT$16154(Lower by NT$2)
Megabank: S$700 x 23.34 - NT30 = NT$16308

NT$30 is the admin/service fees for exchanging monies at Taoyuan Airport changer..

But the DBS i go is not in Taipei.

But Taipei one is easy la. Trust me. Use google map then street view. Voila, you will be there. For every 100SGD, u gain about 1 dollar more. So you change 1K, u get 10 dollars more. Almost.
