I think it's becos of changing from the changer at the airport then got NT$30 service charge..If out in the city from their banks then dont have this charge, but since out in the city, DBS might be better..

DBS still no good, got 1% or min charge of nt100. so after the admin charges, the rate is about 22.45. I have personally asked the bank teller the difference between changing in DBS and BOT. She said other banks still better than DBS.

However, I withdraw from Citibank, the rate is 22.5 on the same day I asked the bank rate about 22.7., still not so bad.

Well, let's say changing SGD$2000

Current rates at 22.926 so will get NT$45852 before admin..So 1% = NT$458.50..Actual amt receive is NT$45393.50 / 2000 = 22.696 rates..

Megabank is currently at 22.65 while BOT is 22.60(NT$30 admin charges if changing at the airport)..

So yea, if changing alot of SGD..You have to see that extra few bucks is worth the effort lor..

I have 45.5k ntd for those who are more conservative to change locally. Rate 22.5

Giving it a miss since it was a typo, supposed to be 22.5 and not 25. Anyone interested can go ahead and PM him if you ok with to take up at 22.5.

I will prob change in Taiwan. :o
