Hi folks, just to add on and help double-confirm... cash withdrawal is free of charge if you use your DBS or POSB ATM/credit card at DBS Taiwan ATM machines. This means that there's no $5 charge, or 3.25% admin fees, only the foreign currency conversion rate will apply.

Hi
Is this still valid for Dec 2015?
No service charge?
Can't find it on dbs website

No charges but the rates follow sg branch which is not displayed which means change blindly.
Bring sgd there change, then is based on tw branch rates.

Yes, it's still valid. There won't be a $5 overseas withdrawal charge or 3.25% service fee if you use your DBS/POSB card at an overseas DBS ATM machine in Taiwan. The usual FX conversion rate will apply (typically most banks/money changers charge around 2% (plus or minus) for FX conversion). You can check out the rates online, but do be aware these rates are indicative and could differ due to market fluctuations.

I checked online at dbs.com.sg, but unable to see NTD rates.
Pls advise.
Eg: sg to twd today's rate vs the dbs.com.tw rate.

In my entire 13days trip in Taiwan.

I have not seen a DBS ATM machine! :s13: Tonnes of Citibank!

Damn. I was still thinking of withdrawing towards the end of my trip. Ate maggie mee in the end. Starve all the way to SQ SilverKris lounge because my hotel doesn't have breakfast.

Sad :(

hi.. anyone knows if the exchange rate at Taoyuan airport now is it better than the exchange rate in sg? Looking to change around S$5k. Will be arriving on a Sunday at Taoyuan airport but will self drive and first stop at Miaoli. I guess there are no banks near that area.

All you need to do is see earlier post..

For first URL, it's the 2nd column which is (Cash/Bank Buy)

For 2nd url, it's the 1st column which is cash buying

I've got NT$38,000 to change for S$1650
[S$1 = 23.03]

Must take all.
Deal in the east (Loyang, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Simei, Bedok) on weekday evening 7-8pm kind of timing.
I drive, so can stop by petrol station or your home/office if it is in the area(s) listed above.

PM to arrange.

EDIT 17 Dec: Have changed the NT$ already
