Does the money changer in the bank of Kaohsiung airport accept Singapore thousand dollars note? Or is it better to give them fifty dollars note to buy NT$?

1000 is harder when u get out.
So better with 100s or 50s.

Best to bring 100s and 50s. If they don't accept your $1000 note, you're screwed.

Anyone knows what is the rate at Taoyuan now? I'm flying this Sat. Think I'm going to change everything there.

I'm flying to Kaohsiung next week, can anyone advice the exchange rate in Kaohsiung airport there is similar to Taoyuan airport or better than in SG??

As of now think that side better.
Banks same, means rates same.

3weeks ago before i went changed at change alley 22.63...then went taiwan 2 weeks, last 3 days in taipei needed to change $ went to Taiwan local bank Mega below my airbnb in xinyi area...rate 22.89...so change there better if u know how to find Mega (Zhao Feng bank- purple logo)

Not necessarily Mega Bank only. The other banks also have pretty decent forex rates.

In summary what you're saying is that the rates are better in Taiwan than in Singapore, which is what has been repeated many times this thread.

most of the time the rate in taiwan banks are better than SG, but if you changing so a little bit make no different. i know bank of taiwan no admin fee

Airport has transaction fees only.
So sometimes out of the blue, arcade does give surprises.

just came back from tw

weather not bad, cooling at south, around 20 degree

pretty cold at north, around 12 degree, those windy places you can really feel the cold
especially if you stay in min shu, where their room is not "fully enclose"

no rain, maybe im lucky, even 9fen no rain :D
its very dry, apply more moisturiser
