Excuse grenade

Im excused from grenade throwing due to partial loss of hearing. Quite gutted to be missing out on it..however, before the live/real grenade throwing session there's practice sessions right? am i still able to participate in those sessions?

Can anyone who has been excused grenade and went through bmt tell me? im pes c btw enlisting aug 13


also as a pes c2l9 during field camp do i need to head back to bunk to sleep? if they ask me to, can i volunteer to sleep outfield?

I don't see why not? There are PES A/B people who also excused grenade also passed BMT. It's not a criteria to pass as for as I know.

I think is dependent on your condition. Well I think they will not take the risk if your condition does not allowed you to according to their regulations.

I believe u will get to throw those dummy grenades like those solid one like literally just throwing a stone that kind

personally i find the firing of sar21 to be louder than grenade due to the proximity of the origin of the sound.

Kudos to you for your enthusiasm to learn

Basically just hold the nade, twist and turn the pin out while pressing on the lever and then just throw like a stone. Time to explosion is ard 4secs.

Once you compare grenade explosions to other explosions like Matador, bangalore explosive, C4 and etc, you will know grenade is like peanuts

Edited: On a side note, my coursemate has loss of hearing on 1 side too, he is clear to do alot things. So maybe you can go to MO and assure him its ok and ask him to re-diagnose your status/condition. Good luck to more explosions in your NSF journey. Cheers!

Throwing grenade is really nothing much, like throwing a stone off your hand. I rmb i wanted to see where it land and explode but literally once i throw, my kancheong pc in btm quickly pushed my head down.
