I went to the MO for sleep problem recently (even though I had it for quite some time) and was referred to specialist at hospital. I quite high chance got school apnea that's disrupting my sleep. I feel so tired not refresh in the morning everyday even when on the weekends.

The next medical appointment I have is the actual test done and that is next year February. It's 5 month from now and I seriously I can't take sleeping in camp. I have to occasionally stay in for duty and outfields. I ccant function properly with so little sleep in camp. Its a little bit more tolerable if I sleep at home and come back to camp for the next day but that means I have to reach camp super early to do my duty the next day.

Is there a way I can ask request my MO to give me excuse duty, outfield and stay in? Because these 3 things make me feel like I can't get the most out of my sleep when my sleep is already bad. Just for the mean time until I go to the hospital again for my sleep test to find the underlying cause. At least if they find something wrong, it can be fixed. I ord next year may so it's still a long way. I can't live like this every week having so little sleep. Everyone been asking why I look so tired

Is there a way? Sure ask the MO lor. If you don’t ask how you know whether can or not.

I heard MO don't entertain such request unless it's a memo given by the doctor. I don't have a memo and the next appointment is 5 months away. I request to get checked up cause I can't take it. And now they drag it.

So you tell me this. You heard (think) I thought who confirm?

What is the point of asking us if there is a way when someone told you a way then you go question back that this might not work. Have you even try? If you don't try will you ever know?

So if we tell you no way then you LLST?

haven't you already ask this question earlier?

what you are excused will depend on your condition as assessed by your specialist and SAF MO of course.

you can request in that you can mention that such aspects will be hard for you to handle.

but final decision still rests with SAF of course.

that being said, nobody gets enough sleep outfield. you need to put in some effort too, but of course don't go overboard.
