Experience with nook ebook site

Tried 3 times buying different nook ebooks (local card, local address, sans vpn) from bn.com. Only to find at the last payment stage the titles were not available to SG. There is totally no info on the ebook description screen to tell me that the title is regionally restricted.

Next, I tried using us address, with vpn on, and local card. Didn't work too. The processing of the card failed.

Anyone has any luck buying nook ebooks?

ps. kobobooks.com is so much better, at least they show you only what you can *actually* buy in your region, rather than wasting visitors' time.

I'm having the same issue to buy ebooks. The infamous prompt will pop out saying that Order cannot be processed and an email will be sent to you telling that buying from outside US is not supported.

Anyone whom has luck buying last year is still able to buy this year?

I have a feeling BN has stepped up their restrictions policy.

One way I haven't tried, which is to buy their gift card and use vpn for purchasing. May work. But I've decided to just stick with Amazon and kobo stores.

I have used vpn to try and purchase an ebook but I'm assuming gift card should also be blocked since it is using the same billing system. However, Do share if you have some good news!
