Thanks guys. Seems like DBS/posh atm is not expired cashcard friendly. I would try using another local bank atm. Anyway I received a response from NETS and this is what they said
“ Kindly be informed that a full refund of the card is available for up to two years after a NETS CashCard expires.
Do note that the card cost of $5 is non-refundable.
After the two years grace period, a S$1 monthly service charge will be deducted from the card until the balance is depleted.
The cardholder shall not be entitled to a refund after the lapse of four years from the expiry date.
You may wish to perform a refund of your NETS CashCard at:
(i) Any local bank Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
for an immediate refund.
(ii) Any UOB and OCBC bank branches for a manual refund,
- Get a NETS CashCard Refund Form from the Customer Service Counter
- Fill up the form legibly.
- Tear and keep the last copy of the refund form.
- Enclose your NETS CashCard and the form into the refund envelope.
- Seal the envelope.
- Deposit the envelope into the NETS CashCard Refund Box located at the counter.
Upon receipt of the card from the respective banks, the refund will be processed within 14 working days.
