External Hard disk experts

Hi, i am looking for external hard disk for backup purposes as my internal hard disk is full.

found a few rather cheap ehdd online. please help me see which is better and most bang for bucks.

1)Lenovo F309 - 1TB - $59.90

2)1TB WD Elements - $62.00

3)2TB - Toshiba Canvio Basics - $62.50

4)Samsung - 1TB OEM -$55.50

5) 1 TB - $61.00

any other link are welcome too, it will be bonus if there is promo code.

I still have my WD Element but it got cocky when storage almost full.....bought in 2013 around $100++ now half price but still work mainly for storing my favourite movies to watch on TV

The Toshiba is cheap because intl set = imported set = no warranty

I would go for Hitachi Touro.
500GB or 1TB model, the older model with plastic enclosure should be a bargain now.
At 5,400 rpm. If you go for the Touro S with aluminum enclosure, it is slightly more expensive but at 7,200 rpm.

WD element look pretty good but not sure in term of spec is it that good.

Go down Sim Lim Square and see for yourself.
Whether this Lenovo brand & model hard disk is well stocked by the shops there. If not very popular means this brand is not very safe to buy. For one reason, or another.

Fully agree. That's why I would go for Hitachi Touro drives. Chinese firms always have weird, self-serving ways of running their show.
More importantly, when hard drive is concerned, I will not compromise any small cost savings with data loss & product reliability.
