Which hard disk is good nowadays? Thatis crash proof if any? Need one to store my school work, movies and music.

There is no such thing as crash - proof hard disk. All will fail sometime down the road.

Anyway will plugging an memory card into MBA 'permanently' slow down the notebook? Just like plugging multiple USB storages slow some notebook performances i mean...
