came across this interesting article. basically e author used e Instruments tool to monitor his iphone n found out e facebook n fb messenger apps were waking up every few minutes n using e cpu then sleeping.

looks like it does make sense to close certain apps instead of leaving them running in e background.

those of u who have dev accts here can try it out n see what other apps r doing this.

solution.....remove the app and use safari to access~~ lol less intrusion & invasion of living the moment.

turn off location permissions for Facebook and kill the app when you're done.

there's also a terminal command to remove the multitasking flag for the app if you're jailbroken.
