The update yesterday causes my data to overshoot from 5gb to 6.2gb within a 5 min span. Have contacted telco regarding it.

Has it happen to anyone ??

Ditch the app.
It's a battery drainer.
Use the web browser, Safari with content blockers.

Agree with PetPet on this. Since I dropped the app, my battery last longer. Only drawback is, u won't get push notifications. But then again, we check our Facebook so frequently each day it makes no difference lol

No need to dismiss the app.

Just disable in cellular, app refresh & notifications will be more than enough, use only when on wifi. When on cellular access Facebook using your browser.

Or create US account and download Facebook paper
It has the messenger services in built to it

Eats less battery and UI is better overall

Facebook is working fine on my set. No battery or data draining. I always kill the app after using it.
