FaceID not working.

Anyone encountered FaceID not working? Was fine all along until this afternoon? Tried restarting my iPhone and resetting my faceID but problem still persist.

Currently using iPhone 12 Pro v.17.3.1.

Is this software issue?

It just cannot detect my face when I try to unlock my phone, I need to enter my passkey to unlock.

Went to general setting to reset the face recognition also cannot, got error message “Face ID is not available, try setting up faceID later”

Sounds like something you have to bring to apple to diagnose unless you willing to restore to factory settings?

Do try resetting to factory setting too.
Have there been any drops to the phone recently too? Cables might have loosen after a while if drops did happen.

As suggested by others, try backing up and resetting the device to factory settings to see if Face ID restores. However, considering the issue may be with Face ID itself, contact Apple support and request a remote diagnostic test to identify any underlying issues.

sometimes screen protector can cause this issue too.
if you have screen protector try to remove it and try again.
