Guys, anyone has this issue with setup of fingerprint?
I setup successfully but thought that one of the fingerprint was not that good so I deleted and tried again.

After that I could no more add fingerprint.
Even after a reboot.
:(

After I rebooted several times, managed to setup again.
Be cautious when removing existing fingerprints or redoing.

Have you guys tried updating to iOS 7.0.2 yet?

yes i was already on ios 7.0.2.

i tried to setup fingerprint this morning and after like more than 10 times it finally worked.
however, it was pointless as the failure rate to unlock the phone was like 100%.
probably hardware issue with my fingerprint sensor? :s11::(

If you tried and have ensured that your prints are clean and the sensor surface is clean too, bring down to your telco or Apple and get the phone changed.

if your hand is wet, it doesn't work that well
notice the same in my office which uses fingerprint scan

ensure you have dry fingers when using the fingerprint feature

my office also use fingerprint scan... i thot the scan work best if the finger is a little bit wet. There are times where the scanner unable to detect my print and wht i did is to wash my hands and wipe it with hand tissues. Keep it a little wet and try again. Always works for me.

yes i brought it to singtel for an exchange.
at first the CSO didnt want to change as he said it isn't a 100% spoilt touch id as they still can setup and unlock.
But only for the first few tries it worked, after that they also couldn't unlock.
then he went into the room for a while and ask.
in the end managed to exchange a new iphone 5s, no more problem, 100% unlock with both thumbs.
