Failure to report to routine report.

Hi, i suppose to report back for a routine report on 11/12/2014. But due to some emergency case at home, i didnt turn up. what could be the possible punishment? cause on the letter itself says fine up to $5k, jailed up to 3yrs or both.

Call them again faster admit you are wrong and see what goes. Maybe they might want to hear a proper explanation and you might get off with a warning.
