Quite a lot of ppl order from them. And ppl who don't know better will just happily use the fake redmi with no complaints. My gf bought and we were planning to go collect, but I just told her to cancel the order and get her money back. Maybe will just go singtel to buy instead.

Thx for the notice adix.

yes and i believe it's ILLEGAL right? to sell fake products? xiaomi said they will take action against anyone flipping with their phones or selling fake ones.

don't know can sue till they bankrupt or not.

Both the shops on Qoo10 are selling fakes. Namely the one at sim lim and the one at kembangan.

I ordered the one from Sim lim and discovered that mine was fake. When I went down to challenge them, they refunded me my money. Not satisfied that lots of people were getting conned by them, I posted a negative review highlighting how to spot their hongmi fakes! They took down their ad soon after and I guess they created a new one as all the old reviews are gone.

Next, I called the shop at Kembangan to ask if they selling fakes or originals. The sales person who answered evaded my question and said I can go down to check. And so I did!
The serial and IMEI number on the box does not match the phone's. I left the shop without wasting any more time.

Guys, just avoid all parallel stocks. Think about it, if Xiaomi is out of stock everywhere, how can these shops have stock??

What I don't understand is the why can't they create their own brand?
They can actually be decent phones if they bother to support them...mt6577 isn't that bad of a processor.

Its MT6572 to be exact. And if the RAM is indeed 1GB then not so bad. But to pay that amount for fake Redmi is.....
I would buy the phone if its not branded as Xiaomi and it cost around S$80...
