Recently, I re-installed the OS on the new m2 ssd and updated my bios.
All was fine till I started to game on flight simulator x. The radiator fan on the corsair h110i starts to spin up when I am 5 mins into the game. Prior to the new upgrade and bios update, I have no issue with the fans. They were quiet and only spin up when I do some stress tests.
The spinning up stuttered; the sound/volume of spinning gets progressively loud for few seconds, then remains constant for another few seconds and increasing loud till remains constant again.
The opposite happens when I exit the game.
CPU temperature is at about 50 degrees and pretty sure it is not at 100% load.
Uninstall the Corsair Link and AI Suite were of no help. Switching the fan control in the bios from DC to PWM didn't help either.
The fan speed is normal while I on web pages or youtube or the system is idle.
Any advice on what is possibly wrong?
