i see... cos this Ultra will be my first Apple Watch

was about the get the series 7 last yr but held on for the temperature sensor thats rumoured to be coming.

tempting … but i think i’ll wait for the next year’s … let their engineers tweak whatever issues or improvements they face or come up with

hopefully by then it can replace my dedicated sports watch

the ultra actually cost more than these pro gps sports watch btw … but of cos the AW can do more than just tracking etc

then i configure the series 8, stainless steel with milanese loop strap, the price almost the same as Ultra

I just need the watch module, so ordered the 45mm SS with sport band, because I already have my own straps. Price diff to the Ultra is $80.

If it’s your first Apple Watch, you probably will need to feel and see it first before committing. That’s my take. For me, I have the series 7 to swap around.

The regular watch is always around that price.

Coming to the Ultra and comparing with the Edition titanium watches, the Ultra is actually priced lower.

I’m keeping my current series 7 SS and Milanese loop as an alternative besides the ultra, if u have series 7 - that’s my recommendation

me keeping s7 too.

I cancelled my order for the Series 8 45mm SS because the difference between this and my current 7 is too incremental.

In the end ordered the Ultra with orange Alpine strap after much consideration, delivery in 5-6 weeks.
