FD Node 304 with AIO Cooler?

i will pair with a 2200g i got for 2nd hand...

which motherboard should i go for?

1) Gigabyte B450i Auora ?
2) MSI B450i gaming plus ?

actually was aiming for msi but the nvme drive slot is on another side maybe a turn off?

No experience with either but if the MSI one has only one NVMe slot and it's on the back, I'd go for the Gigabyte one. NVMe drives can get hot also, and the Node 304 doesn't look like it'll have some space between the back of the mobo for the heat to dissipate? M.2 ssd on the front can also benefit somewhat from airflow cooling, especially if you use a C-type top flow cooler. Not to mention you won't need to remove the whole mobo just to access the drive, should there be need to change anything

i got this part keep droping after trying to put a sata card ...any idea how to secure this part?

My take is that if you are looking at using this casing as a NAS, I don’t think you need a very high end CPU. So like you mentioned, you are likely going for a Ryzen 3 or 5 APU at best, so you should just get a good low profile cooler like the Scythe Big Shuriken 3, and that should be more than enough based on my experience. I’ve previously paired this cooler with my overclocked Ryzen 5 3400G and under gaming load, it ran in the 70s max while still whisper quiet.

And because you are using as NAS, you are most likely going to keep this running for 24/7 or long hours. Therefore, it is best to just stick to air cooling to minimise downtime/ points of failure. Fan spoil (which is quite unlikely), just change fan. CLC will have to be mindful of leaks, evaporation, pump and fan failure.

Usually Gigabyte intel itx boards have 6x sata ports
