I don't really agree with how things are handled but the moderator and administrator are painting me in bad light so I have to make a stand here.
Zero Transparency
Firstly, the admin/mod team kept their silence throughout the whole ordeal in public, did not give out any verbal warning and just kill first, talk later which is mercilessly justified only in clauses 10.1 and nothing else. This mass liking has been done over 5 years, no disabled, no official warning was taken, and they did not come to the public to make a disapproval about it even after the new forum migration, they still keep their silence. To further top it off, I don't really want to do this or pinpoint which moderator, the team itself showing implicit agreeable behavior with this mass liking behavior after i reported some user getting overboard of their personal attack as per screenshot below:
That said, a 'chopping hand' action is done right after a few days. If the admin/mod team is stating, "Due to new forum feature, please refrain from mass liking as it affects some of the user until a solution is made in place." from the admin team themselves stating their stand instead of "Thank you for the likes, Cheers!" / disable your function later, I would gladly oblige to their request. However, that's not the case, this is terribly done. Sorry for that moderator.
Misuse of clause 6.1.3
I also disagree the act through clause 6.1.3 is justified. Clearly, the lack of domain knowledge leading to such reasoning is absurd. That's probably why this platform did a poor migration, hurt site performance using many trackers and plugins underlying this forum infrastructure.

300+ stuff including funny stuff loaded under the user each time a homepage is loaded compared to loading my mini 1 button.
"not to hack into, interfere with, disrupt, disable, over-burden or otherwise impair the proper working of the Site, Services or Servers". Liking a user doesn't hack, interfere, disrupt, disable, over-burden or impair the working of site, services or servers. The website, services and servers are still functioning 100% fine. The most misleading debatable point is over-burden. If I had over-burden the site, I would have banned 5 years ago.
There are 4.9 million of users clicking the website everyday, comparing my 1000 likes everyday. What's 1000 to 4.9 million? 0.0020% of overburden bandwidth? That's a foul cry over me flooding your swimming pool with a drip of water. 1 single KYM thread bandwidth truly exceeds a miniature change of likes button.
The statistic on mass clicking does not fall at the level of web server but at other end users. The statistics is also implicitly expressed in a way that I did that massive liking 100+ post in a single thread to justify the disabling of first user who is me. I usually like my own chat thread and other new short threads which are less than 100 posts. If what you say is true, the regular posters in those kind of part 20/part 21 thread (other than my chit chat's ayaya thread) would have be leading in top rank in the reaction score. But reaction scoreboard proves my point here. You could say I nitpick the wording but that's a technical difference here which is badly used for your technical reasoning.
Minority over majority
There are standard platform features and standard solution like 'turning off' offered. Majority of the users are using standard solution offered from this platform until new standard feature is available without complaining is a 'skewed'. However, instead of the complainers using available common solution like other majority users, the admin/mod teams decide to bend themselves over to a minority group of karen users who refuse to use common solution in temporary but a customized alert feature or make it happy at the expense of crippling a user and at the same time, removing the joy of other majority users. Apart from 'turning off alert', 'ignoring user' also works but they refuse to use the ignore user button. This actually inevitably opens door to more of such demanding 'customize' requests like 'stop someone from liking', 'stop someone from quoting', to what should actually be 'please use what is offered.' Such movement will only encourage even more customized features request and increase the admin/moderator's workload in the future.
The analogy of "Cutting down a whole forest to save a tree? or Cutting down a tree to save the whole forest?" is also questionable without seeking the majority opinion of the edmwers. Have anyone from the team truly seek the public's opinion by making a public poll in edmw if they want to stop receiving mass likes from the sub culture of edmw? This 'kill first, anyhow justify later' does not sit well with people who enjoys the uniqueness of the community.
By cutting away the unique artifacts that brings laughable silly joy to the community and retain the toxic critics by submitting to them, we are slowly losing the past fun and humour like kozuimi and many other memorable edmwers. Now, we don't have the same enjoyment like the silly past but a retaining bunch of toxic users who whines endlessly from politics to women and encourages the toxic behavior of disabling/report/banning other users at the expense of the admin/mod team's load, the community joy and a user.
I guess that's how the team decide such direction of how the platform goes but that is not healthy to me imo.
If many others who are in your shoes, they would have done a better way to make both parties happy.
Mass liking
Last but not least, at the time of writing now, Vijay has implicitly stated via pm that he never condone mass liking.
yet writing that he warned me back in the old forum. I hope this message feedback to the majority of edmwers who enjoys the liking culture that it may still stays in the presence of minority whiners who couldn't bring joy to others.
Also I did not orchestrate the mass liking after my function is disabled, I implicit requested my friends not to like anymore because I dont want them to be in the same circumstances as me. I guess the sudden of outburst maybe due to the mishandling of the situation.
But you can like, you can post but no, you're spamming...
The debatable overboard only applies to the minority users in this context against the majority edmwer who actually enjoys and wants it. I won't go over into this and it will go endlessly.
Lastly
I would most likely end this account's activity indefinitely like koizumi's departure until there is a good reason to return. Happy things always come to an end. I genuinely read every post that I liked and it was a great moment to see many users enjoying likes as much as i like their posts happily, including the humour of users who resist being liked. I hope such little positive act will continue to bring forward and brings smile to many others who truly enjoys it.
I personally thank to the people who speak out for me in both edmw and feedback forum. I appreciated the support in the midst of this matter. Deeply gratitude.
I also hope my post here will end all future possibility of argument with the administrators team as they already have enough load to handle the toxic customizing request at no pay in forgo the joy of the majority community. My issues shall end here. I am insignificant, you are insignificant, vijay is insignificant and this matter is insignificant. A few days later, everyone would forget this insignificant saga and continue the important things in life.
While the important things are difficult to walk through in life, remember to always love yourself by taking little joy even if it is silly stuff.
Be happy and I love you guys <3
Bye.

My likes rate can never exceed the rate of edmw posting and never was my mass liking used on all the thread in edmw. How much is reasonable and everything is debatable, but the point is it was going overboard. - Vijay
