Fengshui master recommendation

Has anyone had good experience with fengshui consultation?

I don’t see myself as superstitious but I do believe in energy flow.

I am going to renovate my place soon. I have heard from friends and family that they did do a fengshui audit before renovation. However, most of them seem to have forgotten their fengshui master contacts. And it seems to me they don’t find their $300+ fengshui master fantastic.

I went online to find but I am skeptical about the ones recommended by webpages titled “The 7/10/13 best fengshui masters in Singapore”. I had bad experience engaging professional service based on Google reviews.

I would like to ask if there’s any good recommendations that you have tried and it worked.

my wife got a quote from a master when we were designing our house. it's comes with "lifetime unlimited" consultancy at a cost of more than 30K.
needless to say we didn't go ahead with it.

i saw a joke recently: stop blaming urself or others. learn fengshui and blame the furniture

i dunno fengshui is real or not, but im pretty sure the industry is 99% scam. there's another thread on fengshui here, with alot of fengshui masters advertising their service by posing as happy customers, which looks super scammy.

anyway, jus work hard, eat healthy, exercise and look things from the positive side. much better than relying on your furniture to bring u prosperity and good health.

There are ppl who believe in all sorts of things, including ghost, aliens, spaghetti monster. Dosnt mean they r real. Most ppl probably do it for a peace of mind, and they may amplify all the positive things that subsequently happen and tot it must be bcos the fengshui is helping.

Did you find a fengshui master in the end?

nope. just did some research online for altar placement in house and dimensions for altar.

anyway if you do some basic research on fengshui, it changes every 20 years with the current period ending in 2023. So if you do a fengshui audit this year, likely you will need to do it again next year to cater for the next 20 years for "adjustment"

FS in general there are a few things to take not. Which can be generally found in reading books…

And with the size of our new apartments , if it’s 700 sf.. the layout is pretty much set for pretty much everything!!.. don’t tell me can put a water feature or statue inside meh!!… where there isn’t much space lol

just to be clear -
assuming you are staying in a condo/apartment/hdb
the "energy" is already shared amongst all the units in the block. it is not like just by hacking or redesigning the layout of the room (and not the house) that you can get more energy as compared to the units in the same block.

think of it as brownian motion.

just use simple common sense when doing the renovations.

example, sharp corners protruding a walkway. definitely will cause injury in a matter of time, no need fengshui master to say its got "sha qi"

bedroom - bed dont face mirror or door directly. mirror cause u will scared urself (not a joke) but subconsciously you will alarm your ownself when you just woke up and in a state of blur.

if you still decided to go and engage one, its fine too but if they say you must put a water fountain right at your doorstep and you dont have the space to do so. how? if dont do you feel very uneasy, if do become so tight space

The reason I hope to get a fengshui master is because I suspect my previous unit had very bad fengshui. I didn’t realise that a stove should not face a door until i sold the unit. I read that it would give rise to a lot of conflict and indeed it did. Quarrelling almost every day.

I thought it might be good for someone professional to advise what other things can or cannot do or where to place, like I am not sure if I should do a walk-in wardrobe as it would be dark and make my room smaller. However, I would appreciate more storage and I read that a bedroom should be cosy instead of spacious.

I am also wondering if I can use blue in the kitchen as I read that blue is not a good colour for kitchen for certain units’ facing.

There are other similar considerations which I thought would be better advised by an expert in particular to my unit.
