Hi,

After browsing forums and researching for many nights, I've finally decided on my final build which I've picked thru pcpartpickers. Would like to seek for feedback on this build and is it worth it.

I was quoted 3.5k SGD for this build by a shop in SLS. Are they worth it? Are they compatible, or any feedback? Hope to get it all sorted asap.

Basically using it for gaming. PUBG/CSGO/DOTA2
Will I be able to play it on high settings for around 100fps?

ASUS PRIME Z370-A with I7-8700K
NZXT Kraken X62 Rev 2 98.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX Video Card
NZXT S340 ELITE
EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

how the hell is this 3.5k??

ASUS PRIME Z370-A with I7-8700K - i think motherboard can get a cheaper 1 not really important. and u don't need the k version.
NZXT Kraken X62 Rev 2 98.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler - personal choice
G-SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB 3000 (2x8GB) - personal choice but i feel RAM don't really need the most expensive
Samsung 970 Evo 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive - 250GB for what price? you could easily get 1TB from Amazon at 200+ SGD. Just say no. u can install this yourself
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX Video Card - personal choice
NZXT S340 ELITE - personal choice
EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply - ok la..but i prefer something cheaper
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor - eh u buy 1080gtx but use 1080p monitor? although 144hz but wth. consider some korean monitor like microboard.

I find it very hard to justify 3.5k...your name robert surname carrot is it.

Your "many nights research" could have been done in 5 minutes using the PC Themes price list, downloadable from HWZ.

FYI the 1080 is last generation, and you are buying the most expensive of them all - at that price you could get a much better card.

Heck even my $1.5k build with monitor able to run Dota2/CSGO at 120hz or more at max settings.
For PUBG 100+hz ultra, gtx1080 is needed but really questionable how the whole build is $3.5k

Eh guys chill a bit la. If he knew everything everyone else knows he wouldn't be asking right?

OP, for 3.5k you can get a better config. As pointed out by a bro earlier you can take the PC Themes Pricelist as well as fuwell and cybermind and make a price comparison.

Btw which shop quoted you that price?

You definitely have some "Chop Carrot" prices there. And some of the component choices are ridiculously overpriced (like the GPU)
