Final Showdown - Laptop Comparison

Hi guys,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Gaming/Entertainment Laptop.

My heart is set on the Lenovo Y510p, but my head is telling me to do a comparison just to find out if there are any other alternatives.

So... the question is;

For around the same price bracket, is there any laptops out there that can rival the Lenovo Y510p or even better it?

Aftershock XG15 should be around the same league. The GPU is better (765m vs the 510p's 750m) and customised with OS and all the 'basic stuff' should be in the 1.8k ballpark.

Form factor wise there aren't any other 15.6" gaming machines out there except from MSI. The rest you find are going to be 14 inch or 17 inch types

Agreed... The 765m would experience less driver and game compatibility problems, no micro stuttering problems as compared to the 750m SLI found in the lenovo. XG15 is probably the most affordable laptop with a quadcore/765m.

You would need to overclock the 765m to reach similar speeds though.
