As stated from the thread...
I think I'll be making the jump from Intel over to ryzen.

Usage mainly for,
Cod:mw
Lightroom
Photoshop
Video editing rendering

Current rig main components:
CPU + MOBO: intel i7 4770k + asrock h97m pro4
RAM: Corsair vengeance 4gb ddr3 x2
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

I'll like to start afresh and I've listed out some stuff already thats needed.
Hoping to get all the stuff from lazada

However I do need help on like psu, gpu, ram
Also would like to find contacts for like custom sleeved cables for gpu psu.
Hoping to get the most affordable and could last a good 5years?

HDD: why 1TB? Can get 2-4TB cheap cheap too
CPU: get 3600, no point getting 2xxx now
RAM: Get 3200 CL16 on 12.12 get 2x8GB or 2x16GB
PSU: 650w gold is good
GPU: up to your budget
SSD: Get 512GB NVME from Adata on 12.12

Yea, I saw on YouTube 3000 series really improve Alot Vs 2000 series on rendering, for gaming can say is abit

What target resolution you planning to game at. If 60fps @ 1080p your current rig is fine. If 1440p gaming at 144fps is your target upgrading to ryzen 3600 + 1660 super or radeon 5700 is a good choice. If you are fine with 1080p@60fps gaming you can stick with your current rig.

Pc screen: No market standard. Is your own personal preference. Some prefer 1080p 60fps budget gaming. Some hardcore gamer prefer 144fps @ 1440p gaming. Is your own personal preference and budget limitation.

do u already have the ssd/hdd? its probably cheaper to jsut get a 1tb ssd than a 250+1tb.
also when u use your pc will chrome have stuttering?
i used to have a 128 boot ssd + 1tb hdd on my laptop and chrome just lags like hell sometimes. everything was fine after i changed it for a 1tb ssd.

I would spend more for 3700x for more cores and threads if the price is good. This is assuming:

1. You do more rendering work than play games (since you only quoted COD:MW).
2. Currently using 60Hz FHD (1080p) monitor. Which leads to #3
3. You don't mind re-using GTX 1060.

If you want to improve your gaming experience as well and get a new GPU and/or a new monitor, then just get 3600 and follow Nelia8686's tip. Be prepared to spend more though depending on your gaming preference
