Find work before University

I am starting university next year. So I am planning to find some work from now till my university starts. Earning money is not a priority but I wish to find work that can allow me to gain new skills and experience.

Any ideas where to find such work or what i can work as?

Depends, not many good companies would be willing to hire and teach an A-level grad. If youre a poly grad, finding a job within your field shouldnt be too hard. But if youre and A level grad, I dont think its that easy to find a job that can 'teach' you much. Unless you have good connections.

Also, it depends on what skills and experience you are looking for. And also if you want it to be relevant to your university course. What course are you heading to?

Yup, I am an A Level graduate. I also agree that I won't be able to find a job that can allow me to learn something new. But was hoping that perhaps someone could provide me with some insights

Are you able to contact your school's career counsellor? See if they have connections with chemistry-related companies or research labs.

Else you may search online on their websites and see if they have attachment, internships or temp available.

Internship will be hard to get. There r tons of undergrad with more knowledge n training. Maybe can try of part time doing lower lvl stuff such as admin or data entry in the relevant coy n hopefully u might get some exposure to the field. But the chance of doing something directly related will be very slim
