the NATO shiat is just a convenient excuse for him to justify his actions... even if sweden and finland say they no intention to join NATO... he will find another excuse to invade them~~

he will probably fake his intention... say he is glad sweden and finland did not try to escalate this war by joining NATO... den suggest they sign peace treaty... after that send his russian people into both country until the russians people are greater den the locals den say this part of sweden or finland want independence or join russia... den can send peacekeeping force... we all know the rest~~

Ultimately Putin only dare to take Sweden and Finland for watever reasons and excuses he can came out ish mainly because NATO and US ish permissive and beh kan lah. If they got show Putin the iron to fight the Ukraine situation may not even happen.

However it also depend hao fast he can take Ukraine, if he cannot take Ukraine fast enough and\or his army suffer some huge damage, he may not have enough resources to try shifty take finland and Sweden. But if he can take Ukraine within few dazes with little losses, hard to say that ish where he will stop. Many conquerors in histories had proven that if given a cm they always go for a km.

Anyway this also ironically proven that those countries are stoopid not to join NATO early when Russia ish still weak after the USSR ish resolved. Nao they will forever be under constant threat and bully from Russia liao and NATO and US got no obligations to act.
