Fireworks Sounds from JB?

I kept hearing loud sounds coming from the north past few nights until now. Were these fireworks from JB? Are fireworks legal in JB now? I thought they were banned.

During CNY period, they just let go one la. It’s not legal, but the police there also close one eye. As long as you not stupid enough to let it out in front of their eyes.

Fireworks were banned in the cities. In the past, people played fireworks in kampongs or small towns because there was not much enforcement.

last week 2 days b4 cny I was at a jb kopitiam. Someone kept lighting those big bunch of red fire crackers n throw on d road.

No 1 catch n ppl were cheering. Damn noisy tat is.
