Hi all, I need help with constructing a new gaming computer, aim is to get it as future proof as possible to game on 1080p or even up to 1440p without any problems.
Budget is $1500. Games played include LoL, Dota, BF, CoD, upcoming overwatch etc. But I want to be able to handle any game that I might want to play in the future.
Currently have a Samsung 850 Evo 250gb SSD already, will need a secondary HDD for data storage. For graphics card wise, I’m actually looking at the GTX 970. No intention to overclock, but looking for fast processing speeds, maybe an i5 4690 3.5GHz.
No specific colour schemes. Wireless connectivity is not required, will be connecting through Ethernet cable. No peripherals required, no monitor required. OS required, but I would prefer legit versions, not to offend anyone but the reddit ones seem dodgy and I don’t want to find that when I go back home one day my windows license gets revoked.
Will be heading down to PCThemes to get the parts early January. This will be my first custom build, so I’m not sure about the installation of windows/software etc. Will they help me to do all these?
Additional question: I have an 840 evo in my existing computer, is it possible that I bring it in with windows still on. Does PCThemes help with the wiping and then adding it into the new system as a secondary SSD?
Thanks in advance!
