Hi, could any kind souls, share their itinerary for an Autumn trip to Tokyo,Osaka,Kyoto for 12 days

Would it be better to buy single trip to Osaka then return form Tokyo?

single trip as in open-jaw air ticket for sg to Osaka, then return Tokyo to sg?
if u can get good price for open-jaw ticket it will be good. else u will need to make the 3hr trip back from Osaka to Tokyo, and it will be a trade off between how much u can save on the travel cost vs. the time to travel

12 days should be quite ok for the major attractions.

yes, great experience, especially those ryokan with onsen. definitely must try at least once
