First PC build - Please help!

Hi guys. I've decided to build a desktop for a first time. I've never owned one before.
I did some research and tried to put a build together but finding myself getting overwhelmed by all the options for all the different parts.
I'm not really tech savvy and have no experience so i'd appreciate input on what i've put together and if its efficient $$ wise.

Usage: Mostly AAA gaming, Elder Rings, Diablo 4, Hogwarts Legacy etc. Net surfing, watching movies. No multitasking, editing.
Budget: 3-3.5k
Other info: PC will have to be connected to Wifi as router is too far. Room ventilation not the best.

Setup: -
CPU: Intel i5-13600KF
MOBO: AsusZ790-P Wifi
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX7900 XTX Pulse 24GB
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6000mHz CL40
SSD: WD_BLACK SN770 1TB NVMe (Kind of unsure on this model)
PSU: SILVERSTONE ET750-HG 750W 80+ Gold
Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT 240mm
Case: Phanteks Eclipse G500A Digital RGB
Fans: ARCTIC P14 PWM PST A-RGB (Not sure if needed since case comes with 3 fans?)

Based on price list, looks like i need to get them all from different shops at SLS.

it will deliver a good gaming experience for sure, but like u mentioned, it is not really the most optimised $ spend based on ur anticipated use case.

since u are just gaming and not looking to do productivity, u can consider ryzen 7000 non x, specifically the 7600 which should perform similarly to the 13600kf. u can also get away with a cheaper b650 board, which should allow u to take full advantage of the cpu compared to spending the premium on z790 or losing cpu oc when stepping down to b760, and air cooling, with lower power consumption. if u insist on aio cooling, i would suggest u look at the arctic liquid freezer ii series, they are the all round value and cooling champions.

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6000mHz CL40

thats a fairly expensive kit. if going amd, u should get a kit with tighter cas latencies to not compromise performance, and they can be cheaper. if going intel, ram speed is not as important, and u can get away with a slower cheaper kit.

SSD: WD_BLACK SN770 1TB NVMe (Kind of unsure on this model)

it is a good pick, though for ur budget u can consider the sn850x, now seems like having promo for very cheap.

PSU: SILVERSTONE ET750-HG 750W 80+ Gold

its an ok model, but for this build tier u should not skimp on the psu. u can refer to here:

overall, i would suggest u look at the high end gaming rig suggestion ($2.6k) from here:
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/pc-rig-recommendations-for-2023.6852056/and replace the 4070ti with the 7900xtx pulse (also recommended in the next tier rig). not too sure how much the g500a costs locally, but overall should be within the lower range of ur budget.

what resolution are you gaming at? 1440p? 4k?

suggest getting at least 850W for PSU, can check out FSP Hydro G 1000W ATX 3.0

Thank you for the detailed response, I really appreciate it since i know next to nuts on this.

TBF i prefer Intel chips, So if i were to stick to the 13600KF what board would you suggest if the z790 is overdoing it? I do need onboard wifi. Also sticking to AIO so will opt for Arctic Freezer II.

Considering im sticking to intel, would the Gigabyte Aorus PC5-5200mhz CL40 be a more apt choice?

The PSU list you linked just confused and overwhelmed me, sorry. Would this do it : SILVERSTONE DA850-850W 80+ Gold or do i need better?

for a k series cpu, a z series mobo is an ok pairing as u need both to be able to oc the cpu (which is what commands their premium over regular locked intel cpus and mobos). but if ur looking for value theyre not it, as oc headroom nowadays is very limited and most casual users wont use it anyway.

still, the prime z790-p is a little expensive for an entry level board. u can get the msi pro z790-p wifi with the 13600kf at 754 (vs 780 for the asus) from dynacore. if u are sure u wont be making use of cpu oc, u can save even more with the asus tuf gaming b660m plus wifi d5, which goes with the 13600kf for 647, or with the 13500 for 584, also from dynacore.

u can follow the rig recommendations thread i linked, which has the msi mpg a750gf for $152 from dynacore. u can also consider corsair txm/rm/rmx models, seasonic focus or super flower models.

Yup. Teamgroup have provided me a pair when it was first released. The price at the initial start was 375 then slowly drop to 243 and now is 207. My hands itching hahaha maybe grab 2 pairs. stock up if friends need to build, so this will save them from over spending on DDR5. I will just sell them the price I purchase At the meantime I can use them for content creation as I hate to pull and plug rams in and out from mobo. Nevertheless good rams at this price. I wish they have this timing for 2 x 32g lol which I know not possible.

Since you have this RAM, do you know whether it uses Hynix-M?

They are Hynix chip but as for M die or not. Am not very sure as I don’t oc. Need stable pc for work.

So I’ve pretty much settled on the pc build. But I’m having issues deciding on a monitor. Anyone can recommend a few for me to narrow down from? Basically want movies and games to look as good as possible without forking out a fortune for 4k. Prism+ receives a lot of hate on here, I don’t have any experience with them. I also looked at the Asus VG27WQ1B and found a lot of very mixed reviews.

Will be playing on 2k/1440P
Prefer curved monitors
Prefer between 27-31/32 inches
