Hi guys I am intending to go bkk with gf ( though i wish i can go myself 555) in first week of JAN, can anyone recommend a good place to stay and great places to shop without chop ? where are the nice night markets like hongkong ladies street kind?

probably 3d2n or 4d3n to accomodate the tailoring.

Intending to tailor a nice suit there too as im reaching the age whereby wedding rockets come to me already.

dede i going bangkok next year with my parents. any recommendations to do old people stuff? :s13: think i'll have to save the rooftop bars for another time :s8:

haha normally if going with elderly people, is better to stay hotel near mall
for example:
arnoma: beside big c
grand diamond / novotel platinum : beside platinum mall
grand mercure fortune: opposite central plaza

maybe u can bring them to chinatown to eat restaurants there lol
not sure ...
normally would bring my parents to shopping mall to walk
then to some pasar malam ...

Chinatown morning got more things to see like Sampeng lane, etc. At night people go there eat zichar at T&K etc

You can eat bird nest there too.
