Hello all, first time travelling in grps of 3 to bkk in 4th may to 7th may.

We have already booked the air tix, just wanna ask any website to share to book hotel, and which hotel will be good and cheap?

Ive asked ard and friends said that it's better to stay near pratunam or siam main area

If possible anyone mind sharing their possible itinerary or any places worth visiting? (e.g. restaurant)

Thanks all!!

Just left Bangkok (spent 5 days there) today and am in Chiang Mai.

For website booking, you can try Agoda, there's reviews and ratings there. From there, you can run a Google search and then book from TripAdvisor for the cheapest price.

Siam would be an ideal place to stay for its near a lot of modern shopping malls and the interchange station for two BTS lines. Pratunam is near the Platinum Mall itself, where's they sell a lot of clothing at a bargain. Me stayed at The Berkeley Hotel, and found it quite satisfying for the price I paid for :)

Bangkok normally kinda cheap.
If promo can get SQ 197 two way net, or budget airline jetstar around 98 to 114 promo price, or tiger around 112 , or scoot around 97 ...

Hotel, 3 stars at pratunam would cost around 40 onwards lol...
Normally wont book from agoda coz no free cancellation lol...
Used other websites like hotel.com or hotelclub, have at least 5% to 20% discount.... Would be cheaper than agoda.

Think arnoma is a good hotel to stay, bside is big c opposite is centralworld, walk 3 min is platinum mall and walk 3 min is four face buddha. Nearest bts is around 3 min walk.

Have booked their superior room with breakfast, 3 nights at 245 lol ...

Siam area can go siam paragon and mbk, siam discovery centre lol.
Think you can stay at Siam Swana, Mercure, VIE lol... not bad hotel.
Think VIE now promo, 3 nights around 280 or 290 LOL ...

Pratunam is good for shopping, but there always jam haha...
Pratunam can stay at 3 stars hotel like budacco, glow, centrepoint pratunam etc. Think prices for 3 stars hotel around 40 onwards one night. If stay 4 stars hotel like centrepoint pratunam is around 80 and grand diamond is around 90 per night lol ...

Arnoma is around 80 per night, good location lol. Beside big c and opposite centralworld lol ...

depends on your motive, u can go agoda, check according to area, recommended, pricing

if shopping is your main concern then u can choose near your favourite shopping place. price is depending on season e.g novotel off peak about 100 bucks. peak period easily 200 pernite

e.g pratuwan princess(5star) which is the same building as mbk but non-smoking

or novotel(4star) opposite siam paragon

or holiday inn near gaysorn, central world

if u r a sex tourist den of course stay near huaykwang , sukumvit

correct, novotel platinum now have promo, around 100 one night. Is just 10 sec walk from platinum mall. Else can stay at amari watergate, 5 stars, 2 min walk from platinum mall, around 100 one night also lol...

Holiday inn and cenatara grand centralworld is kinda expensive, think around 170-200 one night :)

I stayed at glow pratunum.. quite a nice hotel..

Took Thai airways during promo, about $300 per pax.

Stayed 5 days for my first trip half a year ago. Went to the usual malls like platinum mall, Siam paragon, central world, asiatique, terminal 21 etc..

Also went to the grand palace, floating market, temples etc.

Left out CTC cos my previous trip only covered week days..

i think this should be quite a good deal. i remembered my friend was shortlisting this hotel last year when we planned to go

Bangkok: 2 Pax Stay in Citin Pratunam Bangkok Near Platinum Fashion Mall
(for those without deal account can sign via here to get $5 credit)

any one going from 1-4 may ?

Citin Pratunam review not bad, but the location is far inside the alley. Airport take train to rajpraprop station, then walk 12 min to the hotel. There walk to platinum mall is another 12 min. So is kinda far ....
But personally would book everything myself.
SQ 207 per pax, amari watergate OR novotel platinum is 100 one night.
Total is 4D3N is 357 per person lol ....
