hi guys as said above, first time here, I don't know what to do but I know I want a gaming computer at a budget of 1.4k.

I would really appreciate it if people can help me out with specific items and prices! so that I don't get conned at SLS when I eventually buy.

I had mixed opinions about getting an i7 or I5, which will be better for gaming, so hopefully people can advice me on that too thanks!

I had my DIY desktop a user here in HWZ from marketplace. Maybe you can consider finding him in IT Garage Sales :)

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of good bros here to give u advice too :s13:

Do you need OS, monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers?

What games are you playing or intend to play?

hi srry for lack of info, yes I need os and speakers, no nd keyboard and mouse. I usually play league of legends I know its not a high end game but just in case I would like to stretch that 1.4k so that next time shld I decide to play a good mmo I would have beautiful graphics=p ya but generally I do not require ultra high graphics like in those fps games like crysis, cause I have motion sickness LOL, always see those fps graphics I will be giddy within 5 minutes

look for fotran, if you need his no. pm me.
not to advertise for him but the service he provide is really good. even if you just buy one single part from him he can help with with any problems.
price is good, can be lower than what u see in SLS.
been ordering all my parts from him since 2009, part of the reason is he lives a few blocks away from me :)

Hmm 1.4k

I only know that most of them will charge 3% more.

MSI B85M G43 + i5-4570 ~ $347
Crucial 8gb 1600mhz ~ $89
WD Blue 1tb ~ $76
Plextor m5s 128gb ~ $128
Powercolor r9 270 2gb ~ $245
CM311 + FSP Hexa 500w 80+ ~ $105
Samsung ODD ~ $21
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM ~ $115
Dell s2240L 21.5inch ips panel ~ $199

Total ~ $1396.74 inclusive of 3% surcharge. Buy at tradepac. DIY.

Another way is ask cybermind to get the specs above. But all i can say it will be slightly more expensive. But they do accept Credit cards.
