More than 15 years ago, did a group tour to Seoul and Jeju. Much have changed for sure. and this time everything on my own.
Besides train and mrt., Is traveling around using Grab or Uber easy? Like using Didi in China? What about electronic payment? Need to download any app like equivalent of Alipay/Wechat?

Thinking to skip Seoul, but fly into there then take train to Busan and focus entirely on Busan. Is 7 days ok for Busan?. This is primarily for autumn colours in mid Nov.

Bus and train are fine. Both Seoul and Busan. Jeju I would recommend self drive. Basically depends on what you want to do lo. You can take day trips out of Seoul.

Train tickets haven't booked yet. In fact, flights also. Just started exploring this idea.

Why not fly directly to Busan if you're skipping Seoul. Save time.

What good day trips out of seol you recommend? I have in mind autumn colours.
Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is nice. Nearby market is more for locals, so prices are very friendly. They usually have the Korean Folk Village tour with the Suwon Fortress.

Others include Nami Island and the Gangchon Rail Park which are close to each other. I brought my family to Vivaldi Park for skiing and snow-play, and Lotte World for the kids. Youn can try Everland too.

Thanks. I’m planning mid Nov for autumn colours.

I love Jeju, planning to go back there again for longer trip, maybe 10 days. But must drive to fully enjoy the place.
