first time to phuket qns

i'll be gg phuket during end-apr for 5d4n. a few quick questions.

1. any recommended 1day tour to similan islands? and the price? pre-book online or reach phuket then buy?
2. my hotel is at patong area. what is the most economical way to get to phuket town?
3. where can u find more street markets/food stalls? patong or phuket town?

2. Most economical way? Your complimentary hotel shuttle bus transport, if available. Otherwise would be self drive.
3. Patong may have more but not as delicious and worth your money as those you can find in town. But having said that, you could still find food to your liking in Patong too.

Went Phuket last week, we got from Phuket Town to Patong by their public bus. Have to wait awhile and know where you want to alight though, and it's only 30 baht.

I think you can squeeze Phuket and Bangkok tgt leh. For me I just explore around Patong one day one night then I went to bkk.

Taxi: about 700baht
Minivan: 180baht/person
Airport bus: cheap cheap but depends on your arrival time

Packages are all similar. Price range is the region of 1,500baht. Do note the itinerary usually ends around 4pm.

Probably you need to check again what you saw.. By the way April is 'high season'. But not at such a price.
