First time trip to taiwan!

Hi everyone, this is going to be my first trip to taiwan without my parents. was hoping to have some advices on where to go and which kind of transports are the best to go around in taipei . Currently, i only know a few places to visit in taipei. But im hoping to know more fun places to visit or interesting places to visit around in taipei , im going to stay at taiwan for a week. Thanks!

anyone has any good recommendations for minsu ?preferably near XMD, am currently travelling with my sis , so its going to be a 2 pax trip for us. Hope to eat and enjoy shopping more than sightseeing!

Taipei is 50% Metro, 10% TRA(Depends on where you going), 30% walk, 10% bus..

Most of the time on Metro and walk..Only a few location on the outskirts requires TRA or Bus..

In recent years everytime i go Taipei i stay with them. Used to be near xmd, now they are at Taipei Main Station. You must create an account to make reservation online then pay 50% deposit via Paypal (you have to pay a separate 6.5% Paypal administration fee).
